O ke kahua ma mua, mahope ke kūkulu.
The foundation first, and then the building.
Build Your Capacity
Kupu currently collaborates with more than 100 organizations throughout Hawaiʻi and the Pacific region. We seek mission-aligned partnerships that maximize shared resources and support sustainability, conservation and environmental education initiatives.
If your organization is interested in partnering with us, take the quiz below to see if you qualify to be a host site and build your organization.
Become a Host Site
As Kupu grows, we continuously search for new host sites for our program participants. Program hosting is available to non-profit organizations and state and federal government agencies. As a Kupu partner, your organization will receive extra support at an affordable rate. This will mutually benefit the youth in our programs as they gain vocational training, professional development skills and a lifelong network of peers and mentors in the green workforce.
Kupu ʻĀina Corps (KAC): increase green jobs in Hawaiʻi by supporting emerging and resilient green industries.
Hawaiʻi Youth Conservation Corps: Summer Program (HYCC): equip young adults with life skills through place-based learning.
Conservation Leadership Development Program (CLDP): prepare individuals for a career in conservation.
Environmental Education Leaders Program (EELP): provide leadership development in environmental education.
Please email outreach@kupuhawaii.org for additional info if your organization is interested in partnering with us in providing opportunities that can develop our local green economy through youth engagement and employment.
