Natural Resources Sector Partnership (NRSP)

The NRSP is a collaborative effort between educators and industry to change systems and better prepare and inspire Hawaiʻi’s students to meet the current and future demands of natural resources professions in Hawaiʻi. Leaders and educators in the natural resources field convene to act on priority areas: Building Career Awareness; Connecting Students to ʻĀina and Community; and Investing in College and Career Preparation, Access, and Transitions.

"We need students who are geneticists as well as Hawaiian language and culture specialists, along with athletic field surveyors, skilled botanists, as well as patient statisticians and snail wranglers.” — Summer Aona, Campbell High School Teacher
